Privacy Policy
The data controller for this website and associated apps is Musicworld Service.
The purpose of this statement is to inform users of the Omnichord Heaven website
about the information that is collected from them when they visit this site, how
that information is used, if it is disclosed, and the ways in which we protect
users' privacy.
We only collect personal information when you choose to supply it to us. This
may include details such as your name, address, email address, telephone number,
order details, repair information or instrument photos supplied as part of an
enquiry.
OH-36 Chrome Extension
OH-36 Lite, Plus and your privacy
OH-36 Lite is a self-contained musical instrument for desktop Chrome. It does not
collect or transmit personal information, browsing activity, communications,
location, payment information or analytics.
OH-36 Lite remembers a small number of functional preferences on the user's own
device: whether the computer-keyboard map is visible, whether Strumplate animation
is enabled, and whether the Ivory, Pink or Original fascia is selected. These
preferences remain in Chrome's local storage and are not sent to Omnichord Heaven
or any third party.
A new Lite installation makes no licence-service request. If the user explicitly
chooses Activate Plus, OH-36 creates a random installation
identifier and random device secret. It sends those values and the extension
version over HTTPS to the Omnichord Heaven licence service. After the member signs
in and approves pairing on the members website, the extension receives a signed
licence token and membership status. OH-36 never receives the member's name, email
address, password or payment details.
The installation information is used only to activate Plus, enforce the
three-installation limit and confirm continuing membership access. It is not sold,
shared for advertising or used for creditworthiness. A member can deactivate an
installation from OH-36 or the members website. The extension contains no
advertising, analytics, browsing-history collection or remote executable code.
Virtual Omnichord Assistant
Conversations with Aisling
Aisling is an AI assistant provided to help visitors find Omnichord Heaven
information, manuals and safe practical guidance. Using Aisling is optional;
the website pages, site search and contact form remain available without using
the assistant.
What is processed
Your message and recent conversation
When you send a message, its text and the recent messages needed to preserve
the current conversation are sent through the OpenAI API. Aisling may search
Omnichord Heaven material already held in a private OpenAI project to prepare
her answer. Please do not enter names, addresses, telephone numbers, payment
details, medical information or other private or sensitive information.
Purpose and lawful basis
Answering questions and protecting the service
We process a conversation for our legitimate interests in providing voluntary
Omnichord support, maintaining answer quality and protecting the service from
abuse. Aisling is not used to make legal or similarly significant decisions
about visitors, and no visitor profile is created from an ordinary chat.
Ordinary chat retention
Current browser tab only
Omnichord Heaven does not deliberately save an ordinary public conversation
as a server-side transcript. Recent messages are held in the browser's session
storage for that tab so the conversation can continue, and are removed when
you choose New conversation or when the browser clears that
session storage.
OpenAI
Our AI service provider
OpenAI processes chat content on our behalf to provide the response. API data
is not used to train OpenAI models by default unless the account holder
explicitly opts in. OpenAI states that its default abuse-monitoring logs may
retain prompts and responses for up to 30 days, unless a longer period is
required by law or for service protection.
OpenAI and its service providers may process information outside the UK under
its contractual data-protection and international-transfer safeguards. Read
OpenAI's API data controls
and Data Processing Addendum.
Reported answers
When you ask Darren to review an exchange
If you deliberately select Report this answer, the question,
Aisling's answer, its displayed source links and any optional explanation you
provide are saved for Darren to review. Reports are not used to teach Aisling
automatically and are deleted after review or within 90 days. Do not add private
information to a report.
Security and request limits
Temporary technical information
To limit automated misuse and unexpected cost, Omnichord Heaven temporarily
stores a one-way coded identifier derived from connection information together
with request times. The chat rate-limit record does not deliberately store the
raw IP address, is not used for advertising or visitor profiling, and expires
after 24 hours. Ordinary web-hosting security and access logs may be retained
separately by the hosting provider.
Aisling's public beta is intended for adults. A visitor under 18 should use it
only with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian. Please use
the contact page to ask about access, correction or
deletion of information held by Omnichord Heaven.
Purpose
Why we collect information
Information is used to respond to enquiries, provide support, process orders,
arrange delivery, handle repairs, improve the website, or answer questions
about Suzuki Omnichords and Qchords.
What may be submitted
Information you provide
- Comments, questions and feedback.
- Order, delivery, repair and return details.
- Personal details only when you actively choose to supply them.
Enquiries
Comments, questions and feedback
If you send an enquiry by email to a named contact or general address shown on
the website, we use the details from that enquiry to respond to your request or
improve the site.
Specialist help
Passing on an enquiry
In some cases it may not be possible for Omnichord Heaven to provide the
information requested directly. In those circumstances, we may pass your
enquiry to an authorised Suzuki distributor so that the request can be
fulfilled.
Orders
Online ordering and delivery
Where an online order form or checkout is used, the information you provide is
collected for the purpose of supplying products, literature or repair services
and delivering them to your selected address.
Where payment services such as PayPal are used, payment information is handled
by that payment provider under its own privacy terms.
Cookies
Site usage information
Omnichord Heaven does not deliberately set its own tracking cookies. Some
embedded or linked third-party services, such as YouTube, PayPal or social
media sites, may use their own cookies or privacy practices.

What happens when you link to another site?
This privacy policy applies only to Omnichord Heaven. If you move to another
site, you should read that site's privacy statement. We do not pass on any
personal information you have given us to any unrelated website.
Your rights
Access and deletion requests
You may ask what personal information is being held about you, request updates,
or ask for personal data to be deleted once an enquiry, order or support matter
has been completed where we are able to do so.
If you have a concern about how your information has been handled, please
contact us first. You can also find guidance from the
Information Commissioner's Office.
Retention
How long information is kept
Personal information is kept for as long as it is needed to handle the enquiry,
order, repair, return, warranty or related record. If requested, we will delete
personal data once we have acknowledged a comment, responded to a request or
passed an enquiry on, where deletion is appropriate.
Updates
Changes to this privacy policy
If this privacy policy changes in any way, an updated version will be placed
on this page. Regular updating ensures visitors are aware of what information
is collected, how it is used and under what circumstances, if any, it may be
shared.
